The Christmas Story Train (Evening event)

New for December 2024, Perrygrove Railway Adventure and Kindred Spirits Art are excited to bring you a brand new evening Christmas event.Hop aboard our magical Christmas night time story train this December. Watch the arrival of our steam hauled story express before finding your pre-booked compartment and settling down for the ride. Read along to the narrated story with your complimentary copy of our fully illustrated children’s Christmas story, (written especially for Perrygrove). It won’t be long before your train arrives in the North Pole, where Father Christmas and his helpers will entertain you in your seats and serve you a complimentary hot chocolate, (you can add a festive treat box to your order).

The story resumes as your train winds its way back to Perrygrove Station.  Enjoy the spectacle of the steam and passing trees illuminated from the on-board lights. The experience lasts around an hour, but you can stay longer and enjoy our twilight village, festive photo booth and café. Children will receive a Perrygrove Christmas decoration from Father Christmas as well as each compartment receiving a copy of our unique book – further copies can be purchased in advance with your booking or on the night in our shop.

NOTE: Due to it being dark during the evenings, the woods, treehouses and Foxy Hollow play area will be closed for safety reasons and dogs are not permitted for this event.

During the evening our cafe will be open serving hot food, drinks and cake. There will also be a market stall selling popcorn, candy floss, confectionery and light up toys.
